Oahu Taekwondo Center - About_Us Print E-mail

Welcome to Oahu Taekwondo Center. We have two locations, both on the island of Oahu Hawaii,  in Aiea & Waipio.  Here at Oahu Taekwondo Centers we take pride in teaching the best Taekwondo, whether you are interested in traditional or sport you have found the right school in Hawaii.

Oahu Taekwondo Center -Aiea

Established in Aiea in 1994 by Mr. Brian McCutcheon. He then began his dream of owning several Taekwondo schools around the island of Oahu. He has had tremendous success with Oahu Taekwondo Center and his competition teams. His teams compete Nationally  & Internationally.  Oahu Taekwondo Center has continuously brought home the most Junior National Champion Medallists since 1996.

 

Oahu Taekwondo Center -Waipio

Along with Mr. McCutcheon's success he has also attracted and trained several great instructors, one particularly, Mr. Erik Larsen.  He has trained with Mr. McCutcheon's instruction since he was a teenager.  We opened Oahu Taekwondo Center in Waipio in June of 2000.   Mr. Larsen has built a strong base and Waipio is currently growing at an impressive pace.

 

At OTC, we have classes for Tiny Tots (4 & 5 yrs old) to adults and for those interested in sport Taekwondo, “Team Training”.  Please see our schedule for all classes and times. Oahu Taekwondo Center Team Training Class is for those interested in competing locally in Hawaii, nationally, and internationally. Please call or come by and see us at either our Aiea or Waipio location. Oahu Taekwondo Center is a family center so be sure to ask about our family rates. 

Oahu Taekwondo Center also offers Women's Kickboxing classes.  These classes offer women a time to work out in a comfortable environment to enhance their physical fitness.  Please be sure to visit our Women's Kickboxing page for more information. 

All of our instructors are Kukkiwon Certified Black Belts and have experience in National and International competition.
